Do you want a fresh look — for yourself or your home — now that winter is nearly over? Head to the spring pop-up market this weekend to find treasures from local vendors that are just your style. The market will feature more than 40 local vendors selling a variety of handmade goods. This is a great opportunity to celebrate your neighbors’ small businesses and find a new favorite artisan right in your own backyard.

‘The Little Mermaid’ Sing-Along Experience

Several generations have fallen in love with the brightly colored world of the 1989 Disney animated film “The Little Mermaid.” A big part of the movie’s legacy is its music, so why not enjoy singing along to “Kiss the Girl,” “Under the Sea” and more with a group of friends? The Lamp Theatre’s sing-along experience is the perfect chance.

Be part of Ariel’s world with the movie on the big screen, complete with on-screen lyrics. The event also features face painting, a meet-and-greet with Ariel, photo opportunities, themed cocktails for purchase and more surprises.

Coke Oven Day

This Saturday marks the second annual Coke Oven Day in the Ligonier Valley, a great time to learn about a piece of the region’s industrial history. History buffs can view 100-year-old coke ovens and learn about their operation. The event will be held regardless of weather. A truck or SUV is required to access the parking lot, and there is a short walk to reach the site.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Old Colony Sportsmen’s Association, 402 People’s Road, Ligonier Township. It is free and open to the public.

Les Mis N’At Feeling theatrical?

This weekend is your chance to hear Broadway favorites at The Palace Theatre in Greensburg. River City Brass will bring show-tune classics to life on Saturday. If you love musicals such as “A Chorus Line” and “Les Miserables,” it will be a treat to hear this professional brass band perform them together.
