PennDOT announced it will begin work Monday on improvements to the Cedar Street exist on Route 30 in Hempfield.

The Cedar Street Improvement Project will include single-lane restrictions between the Mt.Pleasant Road on-ramp and the Cedar Street exit through mid-June.

Cedar Street Exit will be closed on April 20, April 21, May 20 and May 21 and a a posted detour will be in place using Route 30, Route 119, Huff Avenue, Broad Street, Rugh Street, and Summit Drive.

The following work also is planned by PennDOT the week of April 13, depending on weather and operations.

Route 381 (Indian Creek Road) in Donegal Township

Ditching:

Crews will pick litter, replace downed signs, and update existing signs, as well as address work orders on various state routes throughout the county.
