Two Pittsburgh men in jail since their arrest in a 2022 shooting in Arnold told a Westmoreland County judge Friday they no longer want to rescind guilty pleas they entered last year.

Tishan Lowe Jr., 34, and Imani Patterson, 28, are facing potential 10- to 20-year prison sentences for their roles in a drive-by shooting and a subsequent high-speed chase through multiple communities nearly four years ago.

According to court records, witnesses observed Lowe and Patterson as they got out of an SUV on Kenneth Avenue about 11:30 a.m. Oct. 17, 2022, and fired multiple shots at two passengers in another vehicle as it drove by.

Officers said they heard the gunshots and followed a speeding vehicle through Arnold and into New Kensington, East Deer, Tarentum, Brackenridge and Harrison’s Natrona neighborhood at speeds that at times exceeded 100 mph.

The suspects crashed into a New Kensington police vehicle.

Lowe and Patterson in March 2025 pleaded guilty to multiple felony counts, including aggravated assault, conspiracy and weapons offenses, as part of a deal with prosecutors. Charges of attempted first-degree murder filed against both men were dismissed in return for their guilty pleas.

Westmoreland County Common Pleas Judge Scott Mears last year indicated at the time of their pleas he would consider imposing lengthy sentences, potentially 10- to 20-year prison terms. That prospect led Lowe and Patterson to seek to withdraw their pleas, said defense attorneys Owen Seman and George Saba.

They formally rescinded that request Friday, and the defense will ask for the imposition of shorter sentences, their attorneys said.

“We believe it is still in their best interest to proceed with sentencing,” Seman said.

The cases have since been transferred to Westmoreland County Judge Christopher Feliciani, who said Friday he was not prepared to impose sentences.

The judge said he will review the case and background information about Lowe and Patterson and scheduled both to appear before him in June for a formal sentencing hearing.
