Recent statements from President Donald J. Trump, including threats to target Iranian infrastructure and rhetoric suggesting “complete and total regime change,” are not just reckless; they raise serious legal and moral concerns. Intentionally targeting civilian infrastructure and openly contemplating regime change risk violating international law and endangering countless innocent lives.
Yet Congressman Guy Reschenthaler has said nothing. No statement, no accountability, no leadership. At a moment that demands clarity and courage, his silence is deafening. Worse, it reflects a broader pattern: He is rarely present in the district, never available to constituents and consistently absent when difficult issues arise.
This district deserves better. We deserve a representative who shows up, speaks out and is accountable to the people, not someone who disappears when leadership is required most. That’s why many voters are seriously considering Alan Bradstock to flip this seat blue and restore responsive, visible leadership.
Silence is not neutrality. In moments like this, it is complicity.
