It’s last call for tickets to the 25th annual “Shake Yinz Booties” gala, hosted at Pittsburgh Brewing Company in East Deer.
The event by The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh was re-titled from “Shake Your Booties” this year to focus on all things black-and-gold in honor of the anniversary. It is scheduled for Saturday and intended to be a night of fun and community impact.
Founded in 1893, The Children’s Home operates with a mission to promote the health and well-being of infants and children through services that include Adoption and Permanency, the Pediatric Specialty Hospital, therapy, counseling and more.
The nonprofit offers free housing for patients and families on-site.
This year’s Pittsburgh-themed celebration features interactive experiences and creative ways to give back. Guests can enjoy a wine toss, mystery bags and interactive street art.
There will also be a silent auction.
Organizers said the milestone event serves as a celebration and a call to action, bringing the community together to support life-changing programs and services.
