CF Mike Jarvis (.333) was 2 for 4 with an RBI. 3B Davis Wendzel (.256) was 1 for 3 with a double.C Rafael Flores Jr. (.184) had a single, walk and run scored. RHP Wilber Dotel (1-2, 6.28) earned the victory after allowing two runs on six hits with three walks and five strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings. RHP Justin Meis (6.75), RHP Beau Burrows (3.18) and RHP Michael Darrell-Hicks (3.60) all threw a scoreless inning of relief.

C Shawn Ross (.231) drew a walk to break up a no-hitter in the fifth inning. He went 0 for 2 with two walks and a run scored. DH Callan Moss (.226) struck out four times. LHP Dominic Perachi (3.00) threw four innings, allowing one run on two hits with two strikeouts. RHP Dominic Pipkin (0-1, 6.23) took the loss after allowing a run-scoring double in relief with three strikeouts.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 7-2) scored a 4-2 victory over Asheville (Astros). SS Jack Brannigan (.357) was 2 for 4 with a home run. 2B Wyatt Sanford (.323) doubled and scored twice. RF Lonnie White Jr. (.281) knocked in three runs. C Easton Carmichael (.259), CF Brian Sanchez (.161) and LF Cam Janik (.250) also had hits. RHP Carlson Reed (2.57) struck out six batters while allowing two runs on two hits with three walks in three innings. RHP Matt Ager (1-0, 0.00) earned the win in relief after allowing two hits with a walk and four strikeouts in three scoreless innings.
