A Pittsburgh man was fatally stabbed late Sunday in North Braddock, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office said Monday.

An assailant or assailants stabbed Charles A. Pullie, 38, in the 1100 block of 4th Street around 11:15 p.m., the medical examiner said.

First responders rushed him to UPMC Presbyterian hospital, authorities said. He died there at 12:25 a.m. Monday.

Local authorities brought in Allegheny County Police to investigate around 9 a.m., spokesman Jim Madalinsky said.

Madalinsky declined additional comment.

Eastern Regional Mon Valley Police — which covers four municipalities, including North Braddock — did not return phone calls or an email Monday seeking comment.
