ST. LOUIS — The Pittsburgh Penguins recalled forward Rafael Harvey-Pinard from Wilkes-Bare/Scranton of the American Hockey League (AHL) on Tuesday in advance of their season finale, a road contest against the St. Louis Blues at the Enterprise Center.
Harvey-Pinard, 27, was recalled to the NHL roster briefly Jan. 10 but was a healthy scratch for two games before being sent back to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Jan. 13.
At the AHL level, Harvey-Pinard is Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s third leading scorer with 36 points (19 goals, 17 assists) in 64 games. He has split time on both wings this season.
A left-handed shot, Harvey-Pinard (5-foot-9, 179 pounds) is signed to a one-year, two-way contract with a salary cap hit of $775,000.
