One person was taken to a hospital from the scene of a car wreck Wednesday morning at The Village at the Pittsburgh Mills.
Around 9 a.m., emergency crews responded to Village Center Drive after receving reports of a crash.
A small SUV had flipped on its side after colliding with a tractor trailer, said Frazer Police Chief Aaron Scott. The car was hit when the tractor trailer attempted to make a turn into one of the store lots, he said. The wreck occurred on the section of Village Center between Ollie’s and Aldi.
“The (truck) driver missed the turn, so he was trying to turn around and the car came up on the inside,” Scott said.
Scott said a third car was involved and had minor damages from the wreck.
According to Lower Valley EMS Chief Terry Anzaldi, two other people at the scene refused EMS treatment.
The SUV’s driver was transported by ambulance to Allegheny General Hospital in stable condition.
