Pittsburgh Penguins defensive prospect Brady Peddle has signed an amateur tryout contract (ATO) with the American Hockey League’s Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins for the remainder of the season.
A third-round selection (No. 91 overall) in last year’s draft, Peddle, 18, just completed his season at the junior level with the Charlottetown Islanders of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). In 62 games, he scored 19 points (three goals, 16 assists). Over seven playoff contests, the left-handed Peddle had one assist.
A native of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Peddle is committed to Michigan State for the 2026-27 season.
Peddle has yet to sign an NHL contract. According to Puckpedia, the Penguins can retain Peddle’s NHL rights until Aug. 15, 2030.
