Will Ciucci started and pitched 10 scoreless innings for the Warriors (2-8, 1-5), striking out six. McIntosh followed with three scoreless before Woelfel worked the final two innings to earn the win. Joe Leseiko started and pitched eight scoreless innings, striking out nine, for the Bridgers (5-4, 4-3). He also went 2 for 4.

Beaver 12, Blackhawk 3 – David Corob went 4 for 5 with a double and three RBIs, Joshua Derringer doubled and drove in two runs and Maddox Tanner had two singles and four RBIs for Beaver (8-4, 6-2) in a Section 1-4A win. Tyler Syka went 3 for 3 with two doubles for Blackhawk (7-3, 4-2).

Brashear 17, Aliquippa 2 – Henry Simcox had a single and three RBIs and True Crawford doubled for Brashear (3-4) in a nonsection win over Aliquippa (0-9).

Brownsville 12, McGuffey 11 – Elijah Patterson hit a walk-off two-run single to lead Brownsville (3-6, 3-5) to a Section 4-3A win. Dominic Capan went 3 for 4 with a double and RBI, Jeremiah McDonald singled, tripled and knocked in two and Jonah Dillinger went 3 for 4 with an RBI for the Falcons. Levi Young drove in two runs and Landon Hatfield tripled for McGuffey (3-8, 2-4).

Burrell 8, Ligonier Valley 3 – Trey Coury doubled twice and drove in a run and Adam Wass had a single, double and RBI for Burrell (6-4, 4-3) in a Section 3-3A win. Rayden Shirey had three hits and Ryan Wass had two hits and three RBIs for the Bucs. Austin Harr doubled and drove in a run and Miles Smith had three hits and an RBI for Ligonier Valley (4-6, 1-4).

California 9, Bentworth 8 – Eli Carpenter had the walk-off sacrifice fly to give California (8-2, 6-0) the Section 1-2A win. Chase Shemansky went 2 for 3 with three RBIs while Parker Gillen singled and drove in two runs for the Trojans. Ezekiel Malanosky homered, Jacob Cavanaugh doubled and had two RBIs and Sam Wade went 2 for 4 with two RBIs for Bentworth (2-8, 1-7).

Canon-McMillan 3, Mt. Lebanon 2 – Matthew Kocan went 5⅔ innings, recording seven strikeouts and giving up four hits and one run, to lead Canon-McMillan (12-1, 7-1) to a Section 2-6A win. Troy Stimpson homered and Blake Simmons singled and had an RBI for the Big Macs. Graham Keen doubled and Dane Barber singled and had an RBI for Mt. Lebanon (7-4, 2-3).

Seton LaSalle 12, Waynesburg 5 – Mike Cejrowski homered, Josh Burkholder tripled and had three RBIs, Connor Rothhaar had a double and a triple with two RBIs and Seton LaSalle (8-2, 7-1) got the Section 4-3A win. Lucas Slifko doubled and had three RBIs for Waynesburg (3-8, 3-3).

South Fayette 7, Upper St. Clair 6 – Bo Stover (2 for 4) hit the go-ahead RBI double in the bottom of the sixth to give South Fayette (9-4, 6-2) the Section 2-5A win. Cody Bungert doubled and tripled with three RBIs for the Lions. Grayson Valancius homered and had two RBIs for Upper St. Clair (4-5, 2-4).

Thomas Jefferson 4, Montour 1 – Calvin Caterino and Andy Brusak both doubled and had an RBI to lead Thomas Jefferson (8-3, 5-1) to a Section 4-5A win. Cameron Kaer pitched three innings, giving up four hits and walking two. Matteo Weber doubled for Montour (6-5, 4-2).

Yough 8, Mt. Pleasant 5 – Tyler Burkett and Gabe Shakoske had RBI singles during a three-run eighth inning that gave Yough (7-3, 4-2) a Section 3-3A win. Shakoske and Jake Williams each had two RBIs for the Cougars. Sonny Marne had three hits and Jordan Grieff drove in two runs for Mt. Pleasant (7-5, 5-3).

Upper St. Clair 13, West Allegheny 12 – Lainie Guarino had the go-ahead RBI groundout in the bottom of the sixth to give Upper St. Clair (4-6, 2-4) the Section 3-5A win. Millie Wright and Caroline Bernard both doubled and had two RBIs for the Panthers. Madison Maritz homered for West Allegheny (7-1, 5-1) while Millie Wright doubled and had two RBIs.

Washington 4, Waynesburg 3 – Kieran Wormsley went 2 for 3 with a double, home run and three RBIs to lead Washington (8-2, 5-1) to a Section 4-2A win. Gina Tedrow doubled and drove in two runs for Waynesburg (5-6, 2-4).

West Greene 11, Mapletown 1 – Caitlin Whyte threw a five-inning one-hitter and struck out seven for West Greene (9-3, 6-1) in a Section 2-A win. Emmaline Beazell had two singles and two RBIs and Kendra Tharp singled and drove in two runs for the Pioneers. Lainey Taylor singled and drove in a run for Mapletown (2-8, 1-7).

West Mifflin 12, Ringgold 1 – Samantha Tomko went 3 for 3 with two doubles and three RBIs, Bella Simak had a double and two RBIs and Mia Bey doubled and drove in a run to lead West Mifflin (10-2, 6-2) to a Section 2-4A win. Addy Allen hit a double for Ringgold (0-9, 0-8).

Yough 5, Southmoreland 2 – Brooke Kowalski went 3 for 4 with a homer and three RBIs and Anna Lindner doubled and drove in a run to lead Yough (10-5, 5-2) to a Section 1-3A win. Zoey Murphy homered and Isabella Grabiak tripled and drove in a run for Southmoreland (3-9, 2-6).

Girls lacrosse

Peters Township 18, Latrobe 2 – Sia Spanos, Julia Platt, Dana Anderson and Abby Yates scored three goals apiece to lead Peters Township to a Section 1-3A win.

Trinity 7, Winchester Thurston 5 – Myah Agmon scored three goals, Luci Briggs added two and Olivia Gillis made 11 saves to help Trinity to a nonsection win. Lily Anders and Avery Powell also scored for the Hillers.
