The winds of change have calmed a bit in this week’s edition of the Trib HSSN state softball rankings.
Four teams dropped out of the Top 5 from last week, including two in the smallest classification.
Delco Christian and Holy Cross gave way to Berlin-Brothersvalley and DuBois Central Catholic in Class A.
The other two to drop out were Wilson West Lawn in 6A and Littlestown in 3A, replaced by North Penn and Camp Hill Trinity respectively.
There were changes at the top in half of this six classifications this week.
Shaler moved up to No. 1 in 5A, Kennard-Dale is the new top team in 4A and Chartiers-Houston takes over for longtime top-ranked Neshannock in 2A.
The other three top ranked teams remain the same in with Central Dauphin in 6A, Sharon in 3A and Union in Class A still No. 1.
