• The Pink Ribbon Gala to benefit Westmoreland Walks will be May 2 at Live Casino, Route 30, Hempfield. Scholarship

The Westmoreland Garden Council is accepting applications for the 2026 Katherine M. McKenna Scholarship. Applicants must live in Westmoreland County or its bordering counties and have completed one year at an accredited college or university by May 31 and be pursuing a two- or four-year degree in botany, horticulture, forestry, landscape architecture, environmental science or related field.
