Fire damages home in Overbrook

An intense fire tore through a home in Pittsburgh’s Overbrook neighborhood late Wednesday.

Crews were dispatched to the 600 block of Overbrook Boulevard around 9:40 p.m., according to Allegheny County 911 dispatchers. The blaze was visible from Saw Mill Run Boulevard.

No one was transported from the scene, dispatch said.

Images obtained by TribLive news partner WTAE show flames entirely engulfing the home.

It’s unclear if anyone was injured in the fire.


Blaze heavily damages McKeesport apartment building

A large fire severely damanged an apartment building Wednesday afternoon in McKeesport.

Multiple people appeared to evacuate the building on the 1600 block of Sumac Street around 4 p.m. before the roof partially collapsed, according to TribLive news partner WTAE.

Allegheny County 911 dispatchers told WTAE that no injuries had been reported.


Car crashes into Penn Hills Wendy’s

A blue SUV appeared to back into a Wendy’s restaurant Wednesday afternoon in Penn Hills.

Footage obtained by TribLive news partner WTAE shows yellow caution tape placed near the crash site, which seemed to have damaged an entrance at the Rodi Road restaurant.

It was unclear if anyone was injured in the crash or whether the location will need to close for repairs.
