ArtsWalk 2026

Experience the artistic offerings of Greensburg with ArtsWalk this Saturday. The event brings together The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, the Westmoreland Cultural Trust and Seton Hill University to showcase the fun and vibrant arts scene.

Enjoy performances, live music, visual arts, activities, live art, artisan vendors and food trucks in a variety of locations in downtown Greensburg. There will also be an auction of painted vinyl from Greensburg Salem High School.

The Lovin’ Spoonful

Do you believe in magic? These Rock & Roll Hall of Famers will head to Irwin this weekend to play their chart-topping hits. The influential ’60s pop rock group is still kicking, and they’ll put on a great show for audiences at the Lamp Theatre.

The Lovin’ Spoonful created lasting hits including “Summer in the City” and “Did You Ever Have To Make Up Your Mind?” Their infectious melodies and timeless style will resonate with all ages and get everyone dancing.

‘Rumors’ at the Theatre Factory

Looking for a fancy farce at the theater this weekend? Neil Simon’s “Rumors” is being produced by the Theatre Factory, and you won’t want to miss it.

This gossipy story of a 10th anniversary dinner party gone very wrong is chock-full of twists and turns, engaging characters and crazy situations. The play premiered on Broadway in 1988 with a cast that included Christine Baranski and Jessica Walter. The Theatre Factory’s production is directed by David Nackman.

Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Trafford Performing Arts Center, 235 Cavitt Ave., Trafford. There will be additional performances next weekend. Tickets are $20-$25 for adults. Get yours at thetheatre factory.org.

Action for Animals Cash Bash

Springtime is a great time to support your local animal shelter; it’s likely one of their busiest times of the year. This weekend, Action for Animals will hold a Cash Bash fundraiser to help raise funds and awareness for their cause.

Enjoy a catered buffet and dessert table from Fuggenthaler Catering to fuel the evening. There will also be coffee, tea, soft drinks and a full cash bar to quench your thirst. The evening will include games of chance, raffles, a 50-50 and prize drawings every 15 minutes starting at 7 p.m.

The bash will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Huber Hall, 300 S. Alexandria St., Latrobe. This event is for ages 21 and older, and tickets are $35. ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’

Kids love live theater, too! This weekend, Greensburg Civic Theatre will produce “Diary of a Wimpy Kid.” The musical based on the smash-hit book by Jeff Kinney will keep the audience laughing for its whole hourlong runtime.

The show follows middle school student Greg as he strives to make his way up the popularity ladder during the challenging preteen years. With catchy tunes and a heartwarming message for all ages, this will be a crowd-pleaser for kids and adults alike.
