Tickets on sale for Alle-Kiski Sports Hall of Fame dinner
Alle-Kiski Valley Sports Hall of Fame will have its 55th induction banquet at 7 p.m. May 16 at the Pittsburgh Shrine Center, 1887 Shriners Way, Harmar.
This year’s inductees are Billy Callahan, William Clarke, Jeff DeSantes, Dave Fortun, Crystal Heder Kosecki and Scott McKillop, Cecil Smith and Dick DeVenzio, both posthumously; the 1965 Arnold High School baseball team and the 1985 Deer Lakes High School girls basketball team. Trib Total Media will give awards to 13 student athletes.

5K race and vendor fair to aid three shelters
The Together For A Cause 5K/walk and vendor fair will be Sunday at Pittsburgh Brewing Company, 150 Ferry St., in the Creighton section of East Deer.
Check-in for the race will begin at 8 a.m. and the race will start at 9 a.m. Food trucks and craft vendors will be open from 8 a.m. to noon.
Proceeds will benefit shelters from three counties: Helping All Victims in Need (HAVIN) in Armstrong County, the Alle-Kiski HOPE Center in Allegheny County and Victim Outreach Intervention Center (VOICe) in Butler County.
