The 2025-26 Philadelphia Flyers placed third in the Metropolitan Division and will play the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Here’s a look at the Flyers’ roster:
Forwards
10, Garrett Wilson – 6-3, 218 – 0 G, 0 A – A journeyman who was a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins and captain of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in 2018-19, Wilson is a prototypical fourth-line energy forward.
11, Travis Konecny – 5-10, 192 – 27 G, 41 A – In his 10th season with the club, Konecny was a member of the last Flyers team to reach the postseason in 2020.
14, Sean Couturier – 6-4, 210 – 12 G, 24 A – A long-time nemesis of the Penguins, particularly forward Evgeni Malkin, Couturier has the longest tenure with the Flyers, having been with that team since 2011-12
18, Rodrigo Abols – 6-4, 206 – 3 G, 7 A – A native of Latvia, Abols has been on injured reserve since Jan. 18 due to a fractured ankle.
19, Garnet Hathaway – 6-2, 212 – 1 G, 2 A – A fourth-line agitator who will try to make life miserable for the opposition, Hathaway was limited to one goal this season.
20, Alex Bump – 6-0, 195 – 5 G, 4 A – After helping lead Western Michigan to the NCAA championship in 2025, Bump turned professional and has split the 2025-26 campaign between Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley of the American Hockey League.
22, Christian Dvorak – 6-1, 190 – 18 G, 33 A – A defensive forward by trade, Dvorak has added an offensive component to this game, setting a career high in points.
27, Noah Cates – 6-2, 210 – 18 G, 29 A – A fifth-round pick (No. 137) in 2017, Cates established career highs in goals and points this season.
29, Nikita Grebenkin – 6-2, 210 – 4 G, 10 A – An undisclosed injury has sidelined Grebenkin since March 24.
39, Matvei Michkov – 5-10, 172– 20 G, 31 A – A first-round draft pick (No. 7 overall) in 2023, Michkov dazzled last season and led all rookies in goals. As a sophomore, his offensive figures have regressed.
41, Luke Glendening – 5-11, 190 – 2 G, 7 A – Claimed off waivers from the Devils on March 6, Glendening is a fourth-liner from central casting who can win faceoffs and kill penalties.
46, Trevor Zegras – 6-0, 185 – 26 G, 41 A – One of the most entertaining players in the NHL, Zegras has a unique blend of dynamic skill and vexing attributes. Few NHLers are more skilled with the puck.
52, Denver Barkey – 5-10, 171 – 5 G, 12 A – Still only 20 years of age, the rookie has split the 2025-26 season between Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley.
71, Tyson Foerster – 6-2, 215 – 13 G, 4 A – Another first-round draft pick (23rd overall in 2020), Foerster has been a consistent producer against the Penguins, posting 10 points (six goals, four assists) in 11 career games.
74, Owen Tippett – 6-1, 210 – 28 G, 23 A – Part of the blockbuster trade that sent Flyers mainstay Claude Giroux to the Florida Panthers in 2022, Tippett is a consistent 20-goal threat.
91, Carl Grundstrom – 6-0, 200 – 9 G, 4 A – A physical, consistent checker, Grundstrom has been a regular healthy scratch in the final weeks of the regular season.
94, Porter Martone – 6-3, 214 – 4 G, 6 A – The sixth-overall selection in last year’s draft, Martone opted to turn professional in March after a single season with Michigan State.
Defensemen
5, David Jiricek – 6-4, 204, 0 G, 0 A – A first-round draft pick (No. 6 overall) by the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2022, Jiricek is already with his third NHL team.
6, Travis Sanheim – 6-4, 222 – 11 G, 26 A – A member of Canada’s silver-medal winning squad at this year’s Olympics, Sanheim is Philadelphia’s leading scorer off the blue line.
8, Cam York – 6-0, 194 – 4 G, 22 A – A first-round draft pick (No. 14 overall) in 2019 under former general manager Ron Hextall, York is entrenched on the left side of Philadelphia’s second pairing.
9, Jamie Drysdale — 5-11, 185 – 8 G, 24 A – The former Erie Otters star was acquired in the highly scrutinized trade in 2024 that sent forward Cutter Gauthier to the Anaheim Ducks.
24, Nick Seeler – 6-3, 197 – 4 G, 6 A – The physical Seeler is a typical defensive defenseman who tends to block shots far more frequently than he does anything with them in an offensive sense.
36, Emil Andrae – 5-9, 189 – 2 G, 11 A – A regular healthy scratch this season, Andrae set modest career highs in his third NHL season.
47, Noah Juulsen – 6-2, 201 – 1 G, 9 A – On his fourth team in eight NHL seasons, Juulsen has never met the potential that made him a first-round draft pick (No. 26 overall) of the Montreal Canadiens in 2015.
55, Rasmus Ristolainen – 6-4, 208 – 1 G, 13 A – Big and mean and willing to hit anything in a different jersey, Ristolainen has been hobbled by injuries throughout 2025-26.
Goaltenders
33, Samuel Ersson – 6-3, 194 – 14-11-5, 3.12 GAA, .870 SV% – While not a true backup, Ersson played the fewest games of Philadelphia’s two primary goaltenders this season.
80, Dan Vladar – 6-5, 209 – 29-14-7, 2.42 GAA, .906 SV% – A massive body that takes up most of the net, Vladar joined the Flyers as an unrestricted free agent signing in July.
