Forward Tristan Broz, returning to the lineup after missing 15 games due to an undisclosed injury, contributed a goal and an assist for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (45-17-7-2).
Goaltender Joel Blomqvist made 25 saves on 26 shots, boosting his record to 16-5-4.

Goaltender Taylor Gauthier made 31 saves on 35 shots for the Wheeling Nailers in a 5-2 loss to the Toledo Walleye at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio.
The result dropped Gauthier’s mark to 21-9-5.
Forwards Bradyen Edwards and Mike Posma each scored goals for Wheeling (46-19-3-3).
