Breeze Airways will delay the relaunch of nonstop flights from Pittsburgh International Airport to Los Angeles.
Spokesman Ryne Williams said the seasonally available route was initially scheduled to resume on May 7.
That has now been pushed back to June 2, “due to rising fuel costs,” he told TribLive Monday.
The flights will be available Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays once they resume.
Williams said the carrier offers flights to 16 destinations from Pittsburgh.
United Airlines in January announced it would reintroduce daily nonstop service to Los Angeles International Airport starting last month. It had last offered direct connection between the two cities in 2014.
American Airlines in 2024 added daily nonstop flights to L.A., reviving a route it hadn’t flown since 2017.
