President Donald Trump’s recent Truth Social activity featured one post that had folks wondering exactly what was going on.

That post was a video of Frank Sinatra singing “My Way.”

It is an iconic tune, and it begins with “And now, the end is near/And so I face the final curtain.”

It turns out that some folks get concerned when, in trying to decipher the president’s messaging on social media, they come across a song that begins that way. It also turns out that Sinatra’s daughter, Nancy, is not a Trump fan.

So, when she saw the post, she made it clear that she was not happy.

“This is a sacrilege,” she wrote on X.

When a user asked if she could do something to prevent Trump from sharing the song, she wrote, “Unfortunately no. The only people who can do something are the publishers.”

And just in case anyone might think that Nancy Sinatra is a fan of Trump, she has a post from Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari pinned to the top of her X profile.

“Trump is clearly experiencing severe cognitive decline, and leaders from every political affiliation have recognized this,” Ansari wrote. “He’s become a national security threat to the United States. That’s why I’ve joined RepRaskn calling for the 25th Amendment.”

Sinatra wrote, “Reposting until we are heard.”

While she was unhappy that her father’s song was shared by Trump, many others were confused and left wondering if Trump was trying to share a message.

“(Expletive) is going on?” Pope Respecter wrote on X. “Should I be in a bunker or something?”

“Three posts in roughly six days, all built around themes of legacy, morality, and reflection,” Armaan Sidhu wrote on X. “That’s not a coincidence. That’s a pattern worth naming. The context underneath. Trump turns 80 in June. He’s the oldest person ever to serve as US president, a record he took from himself.”

Sidhu wrote that Trump is reflecting on his legacy, and that could shape his decision-making.

“Trump just posted a video of Frank Sinatra singing My Way,” Republicans against Trump wrote on X. “What’s happening?”

“Trump just posted Frank Sinatra’s ‘My Way’ on Truth Social,” Mario Nawfal wrote on X. “Something’s coming or something just happened.”
