Master Gardeners to distribute free tree seedlings
Penn State Master Gardeners of Armstrong County will give away tree seedlings to celebrate Arbor Day in a drive-thru from 9 a.m. to noon Friday in the lower parking lot of the Belmont Complex, 415 Butler Road, East Franklin.

Project Lifesaver program event planned in LB
Lower Burrell Police Department will accept registrations for Project Lifesaver from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday in the city hall council room, 2800 Bethel St.
Project Lifesaver is a free rapid-response program designed to quickly locate residents with autism, Alzheimer’s Disease and other cognitive disorders that cause people to wander. Participants wear a small transmitter on their arm or ankle that allows law enforcement to locate them quickly.
