PHILADELPHIA — Pittsburgh Penguins forward Justin Brazeau is expected to rejoin his team’s lineup for Game 3 of his team’s first-round series against the Philadelphia Flyers at the Xfinity Mobile Arena on Wednesday.
Coach Dan Muse declined to confirm the composition of his lineup but during a morning skate, Brazeau operated on the right wing of the third line with rookie Ben Kindel at center and Egor Chinakhov on the right wing.
Brazeau has been a healthy scratch for the first two games of the series.
“This time of year, it’s just about winning games,” Brazeau said after Game 1. “Whether who’s in or out, it doesn’t really matter. It’s not above the individual.”
During the regular season, Brazeau appeared in 64 games and scored 34 points (17 goals, 17 assists) while averaging 12:39 of ice time per contest.
The Flyers enter Game 3 with a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-seven series.
