RHP Justin Meis (3.86) followed with two one-hit innings and RHP Cam Sanders (2.25) closed it out with two more scoreless frames, striking out four. RF Esmerlyn Valdez (.254) went 2 for 3 with two walks, two runs scored and three RBIs. 2B Termarr Johnson (.182) went 3 for 5 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. SS Davis Wendzel (.271) went 2 for 3 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI. LF Ronny Simon (.368) went 3 for 6. CF Mitch Jebb (.125) went 1 for 5 with a double, RBI and run scored.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 3-14) beat Harrisburg (Nationals), 6-1. RHP Peyton Stumbo (6.19) started and allowed one run on six hits in 4⅔ innings. He struck out five and walked one. RHP Jarod Bayless (1-0, 0.00) pitched 2⅓ scoreless innings, allowing no hit and striking out three, to earn the win. RHP Landon Tomkins (2.70) finished up with two scoreless innings. LF Titus Dumitru (.185) went 1 for 5 with his fourth homer. 2B Duce Gourson (.204) went 3 for 4 with a double, run scored, RBI and three stolen bases. RF Jesus Castillo (.303) went 2 for 4 with an RBI and two stolen bases. CF Will Taylor (.182) went 1 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. SS Jack Brannigan (.179) went 1 for 5 with a double.

RHP Clevari Tejada (1.93) started and pitched five scoreless innings, allowing one hit with no walks and five strikeouts. RHP David Matoma (0-2, 7.71) allowed three runs on three hits and two walks in 1⅓ innings to take the loss.
