Following a few weeks of extreme changes in some classifications, things settled this past week overall among the elite baseball teams in the state.
Only four teams fell out of the Trib HSSN state rankings this week.
Two of those teams were in Class 6A as Canon-McMillan and St. Joe’s Prep dropped and LaSalle College and Hazleton joined in on the fun.
New Hope-Solebury was replaced by Montgomery in 2A and Greensburg Central Catholic replaced Northern Cambria in Class A.
While the changes overall weren’t as many as in weeks past, there were some changes at the top of three classifications.
District 9 DuBois is now No. 1 in Class 5A, District 1 Pope John Paul II is the new top seed in 4A and District 3 Halifax takes over the top spot in 2A.
The other three top spots remains the same with Spring-Ford in 6A, Mount Carmel in 3A and Southern Fulton in A all still at No. 1.
