The 2026 WPIAL softball playoff field is building with 64 teams having punched their ticket for the upcoming district playoffs.
The top four teams in each section qualify for the postseason from Class 5A down. In 6A, the top six teams clinch a WPIAL playoff berth.
If there is a tie for the final playoff spot in any section, all of the tied teams advance if they split their head-to-head meetings.
