PHILADELPHIA – A trio of Pittsburgh Penguins forward prospects signed amateur tryout contracts (ATO) with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League (AHL) for the remainder of the season on Thursday.

Forwards Jordan Charron, Kale Dach and Travis Hayes agreed to ATOs with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

All three were members of the Pittsburgh Penguins’ 2025 draft class and recently completed their seasons at the junior level.

Dach, a seventh-round selection (No. 201 overall), skated for the Calgary Hitmen of the Western Hockey League. In 63 games, Dach led that team with 75 points (34 goals, 41 assists).

Charron, selected in the fifth round (No. 154 overall), appeared in 66 games with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League and scored 47 points (25 goals, 22 assists).

Hayes, also a member of the Greyhounds, was a fourth-round selection (No. 105 overall). He scored 40 points (16 goals, 24 assists) in 63 games. He is the younger brother of Pittsburgh Penguins forward prospect Avery Hayes.

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are currently in the Calder Cup playoffs. Having secured a bye in the first round, they are waiting to learn their next opponent in the division semifinal round.
