Hempfield alum Fintan Brose did not hear his name called on the big stage at the NFL Draft, but he still could carve a path to the pros.
Brose, a Delaware graduate, received news late Saturday that he has been invited to rookie camp with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Brose is a 6-foot-2, 312-pound offensive lineman.
Rookie camp is three days and is used to evaluate drafted rookies and undrafted free agents in non-contact practices and orientation in a job interview setting.
Players will try to earn a spot on the 90-man offseason roster.
Brose was named to the East-West Shrine Bowl 1000 List at the start of the season.
Brose made 39 career starts at Delaware and had only nine penalties called against him.
He played 128 defensive snaps from 2020-21.
Congratulations to former Hempfield Area and University of Delaware football player Fintan Brose for receiving an invitation to Rookie Minicamp with the Las Vegas Raiders! https://t.co/wtaG41TsGn

He is the third Westmoreland County player in two years to get a rookie camp invite, joining Jeannette’s Marcus Barnes of William & Mary (Cincinnati Bengals) and Trent Holler (Memphis) of Latrobe (New York Giants).
