Western Pennsylvanians will soon get a chance to take home a piece of the NFL Draft.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh’s Pittsburgh ReStore will sell a collection of authentic NFL Draft furniture from the event’s green room. The furniture collection, donated by the NFL and Lowe’s, includes couches, love seats, chairs, rugs and end tables used by the first-round NFL draftees.
“This is the actual furniture people saw on national TV where the athletes sat,” Howard B. Slaughter Jr., president and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh, told TribLive.
Starting Tuesday morning at 9 a.m., the furniture will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Habitat Pittsburgh ReStore located in the Swissvale Shopping Center at 7402 Church St.
Before last week’s record-breaking event, the NFL committed to a Draft 2026 sustainability plan, including recycling and waste diversion. The Habitat ReStore sells donated furniture, appliances and building materials, usually below retail price, to support Habitat Pittsburgh’s affordable housing and home repair programs.
“We think this is going to be a wonderful opportunity for people to enjoy the benefits of quality furniture at a wonderful price with a great history behind it,” Slaughter said.
Slaughter said the green room furniture was exclusively recovered by Habitat Pittsburgh after the NFL Draft wrapped on Sunday. He’d personally tested the white couches many saw on ESPN and “believe me, they’re very comfortable.”
Tuesday’s opening will also mark a unique event in the Pittsburgh ReStore’s history, with the potential for a big rush of people hoping to buy historic items.
“Our team is prepared for a surge of excited shoppers who want to own a unique piece of NFL history,” said ReStore retail operations and merchandising manager Ken Prengaman in a news release. “We know Pittsburgh loves football, our customers appreciate quality, and this collection brings something extra, a bit of nostalgia and a direct connection to the NFL Draft.”
All NFL Draft items must be purchased in person at the ReStore. For Pittsburgh ReStore information and updates, shoppers can follow its Facebook page or visit pittsburghrestore.org.
