Tickets on sale for Alle-Kiski Sports Hall of Fame dinner
Alle-Kiski Valley Sports Hall of Fame will have its 55th induction banquet at 7 p.m. May 16 at the Pittsburgh Shrine Center, 1887 Shriners Way, Harmar.
This year’s inductees are Billy Callahan, William Clarke, Jeff DeSantes, Dave Fortun, Crystal Heder Kosecki and Scott McKillop, Cecil Smith and Dick DeVenzio, both posthumously; the 1965 Arnold High School baseball team and the 1985 Deer Lakes High School girls basketball team. Trib Total Media will give awards to 13 student athletes.
Tickets are $40 each and can be purchased at akhof.com. No tickets will be sold at the door.
Descendents of Massy Harbison sought for celebration
The Massey Harbison-Fort Hand Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will celebrate the restoration and dedication of the Massy Harbison Cabin and the installation of an America 250! Marker July 16 at the cabin on Stevenson Boulevard in New Kensington.
