Country/pop star LeAnn Rimes will perform a pair of concerts in Greensburg in September, one for Palace Theatre donors and another open to the public.

A two-time Grammy Award winner and the youngest solo artist to win a Grammy, Rimes will be in Greensburg for the Palace Theatre’s centennial gala on Sept. 19. She’ll also perform on Sept. 20 in a concert open to the public.

Rimes won best new artist as a 14-year-old on the strength of songs like “Blue” and later moved to a more pop sound with songs like “How Do I Live.”

For the public show, Westmoreland Cultural Trust donors will have access in an online presale starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Tickets, which range from $73 to $138, go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday.

The Centennial Grand Gala, a black-tie celebration, is set for Sept. 19 and includes dinner and a private concert from Rimes on the Palace Theatre stage. Individual tickets start at $625 with tables running from $5,000 to $10,000.

The gala marks the theater’s 100th anniversary, originally opening on Sept. 2, 1926, as the Manos Theatre.

Rimes’ last show in Western Pennsylvania came on May 6, 2018, at Carnegie of Homestead Music Hall on her Love is Love tour.
