ALTOONA (Double-A, 6-15) took a 9-1 lead and held on for a 10-9 victory over Richmond (Giants). 3B Jared Triolo (.750) rehabbing a knee injury, went 3 for 4 with a three-run home run, a walk and two runs scored. SS Jack Brannigan (.217) went 3 for 3 with two home runs, two walks and four RBIs. 2B Duce Gourson (.217) went 2 for 5 with a home run. CF Will Taylor (.221) went 2 for 5 with a double, two RBIs and a stolen base. LF Titus Dumitru (.194) went 2 for 5 with a double. LHP Connor Wietgrefe (1-1, 4.57) started and went five innings, allowing one run on three hits with six strikeouts. RHP Joshua Loeschorn (4.35) pitched 1⅓ scoreless innings. LF Cy Nielson (1.64) got the final out to earn his first save.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 12-10) blew a 6-2 lead in the eighth inning and lost 7-6 to Winston-Salem (White Sox) in 10. 1B Tony Blanco Jr. (.224) went 1 for 4 with his second homer. C Easton Carmichael (.310) went 2 for 4 with a walk, run scored and two RBIs. 2B Sammy Stafura (.296) went 4 for 5 with two RBIs and his first stolen base. RHP Cameron Keshock (5.40) started and went 5⅓ innings, allowing two runs on four hits with six strikeouts. RHP Yulian Quintana (14.54) faced four batters, walked two, gave up a home run and didn’t record an out. RHp Alexis Torres (2-1, 2.16) let the automatic runner score in the 10th to take the loss.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 9-13) managed two hits in a 4-1 loss to Lakeland (Tigers). RF Ivan Brethowr (.176) went 1 for 3 with a triple and a run scored. 3B Murf Gray (.346) went 1 for 4 with a double. RHP Jeter Martinez (4.73) started and went five innings, allowing two runs on four hits with four strikeouts. RHP Greiber Mendez (3.86) pitched two scoreless innings and RHP Pitterson Rosa (3.60) worked a scoreless frame.
