The one word to describe the Trib HSSN state softball ranking this week is clean.
There were minimal changes to the Top 5 as the elite softball teams flex their muscles as the sands in the hourglass slip away on the regular season.
Only two teams dropped out of the rankings this week as it proved to be a tough week down in the valley.
Valley View fell out in Class 4A and Mid-Valley dropped out in 3A, replaced respectively by Tunkhannock and Mifflinburg.
The teams at the top were top notch as there were no changes with Central Dauphin in 6A, Shaler in 5A, Kennard-Dale in 4A, Sharon in 3A, Chartiers-Houston in 2A and Union in Class A remaining at No. 1.
