Verona police have issued an arrest warrant for a Verona man following a road rage incident that occurred earlier this month.

In a post on the department’s Facebook, police asked for information on Keith Watson’s whereabouts.

Police said they were dispatched to the intersection of South Avenue and School Street just after 11 p.m. on April 20 after receiving reports of a man threatening a group of people with a gun.

Police said the situation began as a road rage incident on Route 28 when Watson, 35, was allegedly following the group and intentionally struck their vehicle with his.

Police said the group became lost while driving and entered Verona while Watson continued to follow them. He allegedly threatened the group verbally and with a gun, police said.

Police used surveillance footage to identify Watson, according to the police department’s social media post. A background check showed Watson would be driving with a suspended license and has a criminal record that prohibits him from owning a gun.

Anyone with information about the situation is asked to call the Verona Police Department at (412) 828-6034.
