Aubrey Brown has showcased her basketball talent in the WPIAL for the past two seasons, and more college coaches are taking notice.
The 6-foot-2 forward from Belle Vernon added a second NCAA Division I scholarship offer this week, from Mercyhurst of the Northeast Conference.
Brown already had an offer from Kent State.
A long-limbed, athletic post presence who can also play on the perimeter, Brown averaged 10.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals this year as Belle Vernon put together a historic season.
The Leopards won their first section title since 1999, made the WPIAL quarterfinals, and posted their first PIAA playoff win since 1998.
