Children welcome at free annual fishing derby

Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Jefferson will have its free Fishing Derby for kids 14 and younger from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 16 at Saxony Farm Estate, Addy Boy Lane, Jefferson Township.

Participants should bring a fishing rod. Concordia will provide bait and a limited number of fishing rods will be available. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Free hot dogs and refreshments will be served.

Registration is preferred. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Fishing licenses are not required for children under 16.
