CF Ronny Simon (.365) singled. RF Esmerlyn Valdez (.255) was 1 for 3 with a double, two walks and two RBIs. 1B Rafael Flores Jr. (.224) doubled in two runs. LHP Hunter Barco (2.61) started and allowed one run on three hits with two walks and three strikeouts in three innings. RHP Wilber Dotel (2-2, 5.60) earned the win after allowing a run on three hits with a walk and three strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings of relief.

LHP Connor Weitgrefe (4.56) allowed two runs on four hits with a walk and three strikeouts in four innings. The bullpen then threw five innings, allowing just one hit. RHP Alessandro Ercolani (1-0, 0.00, RHP Jarod Bayless (2.00) and RHP Emmanuel Chapman (5.25) sealed the win.
