A man has been hospitalized and another was taken in for questioning in connection with a shooting in Pittsburgh on Monday night.
Public Safety officials said officers were dispatched shortly after 7 p.m. to the 5000 block of Columbo Street in the city’s Garfield neighborhood following a domestic incident.
A man went to pick up his children at their mother’s house along Columbo Street.
Police said the man got into an altercation with another man before leaving with his children.
The first man returned a short time later and shot the other man from his vehicle.
The victim arrived at a hospital via private means suffering from a gunshot to his elbow.
Wilkinsburg police stopped the father’s vehicle and recovered a firearm. He was taken to police headquarters for questioning. The children were unharmed.
