Robin Reilly is looking for a new team.

The West Virginia soccer player and former Latrobe star entered the NCAA transfer portal after one season in Morgantown.

Reilly played in only three games last season, seeing more action with the Pittsburgh Riveters pre-professional team in the offseason.

She made her WVU debut against Duquesne. She played 26 minutes all season.

Reilly is the second all-time goal scorer at Latrobe behind Annalyse Bauer.

Solomon leaving RMU

Another former local high school standout is also on the move.

Former Penn-Trafford goalkeeper Rease Solomon is transferring from Robert Morris after one season. Solomon did not appear in a game in 2025.

Softball

Bowling Green: Senior Katie Hutter (Mt. Pleasant) is hitting .261 with 13 RBIs and seven runs through 35 games this season. She has made 32 starts.

IUP: Senior Maddie Griffin (Ligonier Valley) went 3 for 4 with four runs scored and three RBIs, and junior Bri Pusateri (Penn-Trafford) went 2 for 2 with two RBIs in a 17-2 win over Seton Hill in the first game of the doubleheader.

Griffin added two hits, a run and an RBI in a 9-5 win for the sweep as the Crimson Hawks clinched the PSAC West title and the No. 1 seed for the conference playoffs.

Ohio: Freshman Allie Cervola (Hempfield) hit her first college home run, going 3 for 3 with three RBIs and a run scored in a 10-4 loss at UMass.

Penn State Fayette: Freshman Makenzee Kenney (Greensburg Central Catholic) pitched a complete game, allowing one earned run and five hits in a 5-1 win over Penn State Mont Alto. Sophomore Kaylee Doppelheuer (Southmoreland) had two hits, and freshman Taylor Doppelheuer (Southmoreland) doubled in the win.

Robert Morris: Redshirt senior Courtney Poulich (Mt. Pleasant) made another visit to the record book as her banner season carried on. Poulich reached 82 RBIs for the season, breaking a 27-year-old Horizon League record for a single season. She also became RMU’s all-time leader in runs scored with 131.

Poulich reached 46 home runs, 67 runs and 155 RBIs for her career. She had eight multi-home run games.

Poulich isn’t the only local player on the team. Redshirt freshman pitcher Maddie Brown (Southmoreland) is 6-3 with a 5.47 ERA in 22 appearances, including seven starts. She leads the team with three saves.

Saint Vincent: The Bearcats made a late charge in an elimination game of the PAC Tournament but came up just short and saw their season come to a close.

SVC (20-18) trailed Hiram 11-5 after five innings but scored four times in the sixth and six in the seventh before Hiram walked it off for a 15-14 win at Westminster.

Sophomore Josey Michalski (Norwin) hit two home runs and drove in seven runs for SVC, while junior Alyssa Henderson was 3 for 3 with a double and sophomore Abby Bauer added three hits.

Westminster: Sophomore ace Cheyenne Piper (Ligonier Valley) did not allow a walk for the sixth straight game, improving to 17-3, as the Titans (29-9) defeated Geneva, 6-3. Piper scattered seven hits in the victory.

Freshman Kylie Anthony (Penn-Trafford) went 2 for 3 with two doubles and two runs scored.

Baseball

Chatham: Senior pitcher Matt Bamford (Belle Vernon) picked up his eighth win of the season, tossing six innings with six strikeouts and one walk as the Cougars (28-12, 13-9) edged Franciscan, 6-5, to clinch the first postseason berth in program history. Bamford, who leads the PAC with 82 strikeouts, was named PAC Pitcher of the Week.

Pitt-Greensburg: The Bobcats completed the AMCC season with a two-game sweep of Alfred State.

Senior James Domer, senior Tommy Smith, senior Colin Solinski and senior Neo Miller each had two hits, with Miller driving in four runs, in a 7-6 win.

In the second game, UPG racked up 18 hits. Sophomore leadoff hitter William Somer was 4 for 5 with five runs, sophomore Jonah Marks had three hits, and Smith and Solinski each had three RBIs.

The Bobcats finished the regular season 11-21 overall and 9-8 in the AMCC.

Saint Vincent: Sophomore Chuck Fontana (Penn-Trafford) sent a sacrifice fly to left field and junior Lane Golkosky (Mt. Pleasant) scored as the Bearcats walked off with a 5-4 victory.

SVC dropped the second game to finish the season 13-24 overall and 8-14 in the PAC.

Seton Hill: The Griffins erupted for 46 runs over two wins Saturday against Clarion, winning 21-4 and 25-5 on 33 hits.

Seton Hill swept four games from the Golden Eagles to finish PSAC West play at 26-2. The Griffins are 41-9 overall.

In the 21-4 win, senior Jack Whalen (Norwin), junior Heath Fechik and redshirt senior Michael Gregos homered.

In the fourth win, senior Colin Ahr and freshman Mason Metz hit grand slams, driving in six and five runs. Ahr also scored four runs.

Washington & Jefferson: Sophomore Keegan Carr (Norwin) had three hits with a double and two walks in a 15-11 loss to Bethany.

Saint Vincent: Junior Matt Edwards was named to the All-PAC Second Team. Senior Brendan Cooley was an honorable mention selection.

Men’s track & field

Carlow: Senior Ryan Hileman (Norwin) ran a personal-best time of 1 minute, 2.67 seconds to take sixth in the 400-meter dash at the United East Conference Championship.

Penn State Behrend: Sophomore Carter Tobin (Norwin) was named MVP of the SUNY Track and Field Conference Championships in Cortland, N.Y. He earned a meet-high 20.5 points, winning the 200-meter dash in 21.81 seconds and taking second in the 100 (10.65). He also ran a leg of the third-place finish 400-meter relay and 1,600-meter relay. Last year, he was named the top rookie at the same meet.

Tobin holds five school records. He plans to transfer to Penn State in University Park next year.

Seton Hill: Junior Jacy Willis won the 400-meter dash (47.18 seconds) and finished fifth in the 200 at the PSAC Championships.

Women’s track & field

Cal (Pa.): Junior Rosalyn Perozzi (Belle Vernon) reached a PSAC-qualifying time of 17 minutes, 45.50 seconds in the 5,000-meter run at the Penn Relays.

Duquesne: Junior Cydney Blahovec (Hempfield) won the 400-meter dash in a personal-record time of 1 minute, 1 second at the Red Flash Open at Saint Francis (Pa.).

Freshman Melani Schmidt (Norwin) took fifth in the 400-meter run in 56.05 seconds and also finished eighth in the 200 (25.92) at the Atlantic 10 Championships at George Mason.

IUP: Freshman Bella Brozeski (Norwin) earned All-PSAC honors with a second-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles (1:02.66) at the PSAC Championships at Shippensburg.

Saint Francis (Pa.): Freshman Rose Gaydos (Norwin) finished second in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 17 minutes, 18.75 seconds at the NEC Championship. She also finished second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 10:44.51.

Slippery Rock: Junior Savannah Schneck (Norwin) won the shot put title at the PSAC Championships. Her winning throw was 46 feet (14.02 meters).

Westminster: Sophomore Grace Iwig (Hempfield) won the pole vault title at the PAC Championships. She cleared a season-best 3.70 meters (12 feet, 1.5 inches). Iwig also tied for fourth in the high jump (1.54 meters) at the championships, held in Morgantown, W. Va.

Men’s lacrosse

Seton Hill: The Griffins hauled in some individual hardware after another impressive regular season.

Senior Will Cody was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Goalie of the Year for the third straight season, while Dexter Hannigan was named the conference’s freshman of the year.

Both players also earned all-first-team honors, joining seniors Carter Green (Penn-Trafford), Ryan McCann and Kaden Granberg and juniors Cullen Green and Austin Day.

Senior Nate Herbster, junior Carter Li and redshirt junior Alex Hatalsky made the second team.

Heading into the conference championship, Cody had a 13-2 record with a 6.67 goals-against average and 161 saves through 16 games for the Griffins (14-2).

Hannigan was leading the team with 40 goals and 48 points, while Carter Green had a team-high 23 assists and 15 goals.

Granberg had 27 goals and Cullen Green had 24 caused turnovers.

Herbster and Li had 26 goals each.

The Griffins (15-2) claimed their second straight and fifth overall Great Midwest Athletic Conference championship with a 16-10 win over Davenport in the title game.

Li had four goals, Greenadded two goals and three assists, and Herbster had three goals for the Griffins.

Women’s lacrosse

Chatham: Three local players helped the Cougars (13-4) to a runner-up finish in the PAC Tournament.

Junior Izzy Davanti (Hempfield) scored 14 goals and added 22 assists in 16 games while junior Sarah Holt (Franklin Regional) had 14 points on 12 goals and two assists and junior Liz Long (Norwin) played in 13 games with four starts.

Grove City: Junior Gwen Shilling (Franklin Regional) scored a goal as the Wolverines defeated Chatham, 10-4, to win the PAC championship, their third straight conference title.

Shilling has played in all 19 games, starting 17 of them, and has 37 goals and six assists for 43 points. She reached 100 career goals earlier this season.

Grove City (16-3) advances to the NCAA Division III Tournament and will play Williams on Saturday in Geneva. N.Y.

Seton Hill: Senior Mila Udovicic was named the PSAC West Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive season. She leads the Griffins with 36 assists, 70 points, 31 ground balls and 100 draw controls. She also was named the All-PSAC West First Team with teammates senior midfielder Amara Forsyth (Hempfield), junior defender Mariah Williams and freshman goalie Katelyn Patts (Franklin Regional).

Senior attacker Sydney Marusko, junior midfielder Carley O’Mara and senior Kayla Seiler made the second team.

Men’s golf

Robert Morris: Redshirt junior Chuck Tragesser (Franklin Regional) was named to the All-Horizon League Second Team. Tragesser shot 75, 71 and 77 to lead the Colonials aith a 7-over 223 at the conference championship at Mission Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. He tied for 14th in the 60-player field.

He finished 10th at the Bucknell Invitational, tied for 19th at the Donald Ross Collegiate Classic and tied for 14th at the NKU Jewell Invitational.

He made the first team last season when he posted the fourth-best scoring average in program history at 73.4.

Women’s golf

Saint Vincent: Junior Lucy Brayton was named the the All-PAC Second Team.

Women’s tennis

Saint Vincent: Senior Emily Pierce (Latrobe) picked up her 50th career win for the Bearcats.
