There was minimal change overall with only one team each from baseball and softball falling out of the weekly Trib 10.
However, as the regular season concludes, the one thing the power ranking has shown is baseball has a good deal of very good teams, while district softball has the dominant teams.
Baseball has shuffled back and forth all season with only four teams this week not moving up and sliding down.
However, softball has been pretty steady, as the top nine teams this week were in the same spots the week before and most haven’t moved in weeks.
With the WPIAL playoffs set to begin next week and the brackets coming out Thursday for softball and Friday for baseball on Trib HSSN, the top power-ranked teams remain Butler in baseball and Shaler in softball.
Here are the latest power rankings. Teams are listed with overall record and last week’s ranking.
These weekly rankings have zero classification boundaries.
