The elite state softball teams continue to hold steady as time is running out on the regular season.

With the district postseason just around the corner, only four teams lost their grip on a spot in the Trib HSSN Top 5, leaving the door open for four new teams to join in or rejoin.

Gone for now are Fort LeBoeuf, Camp Hill Trinity, Williams Valley and Claysburg-Kimmel.

New this week to the state rankings are Blue Mountain in 4A, Bedford in 3A, Laurel in 2A and Conemaugh Valley in Class A.

Once again this week, there were no changes at the top where Central Dauphin in 6A, Shaler in 5A, Kennard-Dale in 4A, Sharon in 3A, Chartiers-Houston in 2A and Union in Class A remain at No. 1.
