The man accused of shooting four people, killing one, outside a Parks Township bar last month was held for court on charges including homicide.
David Dunmire, 36, of Vandergrift is charged with one count of homicide, three counts of attempted homicide as well as aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.
District Judge James Andring held all of the charges for court. One count of reckless endangerment was withdrawn by the Armstrong County District’s Attorney’s office.
The shooting began, state police say, after an altercation in the parking lot outside of Niki’s Quick Six just across the Kiski River from Vandergrift around 1 a.m. on April 26, according to a criminal complaint filed against Dunmire.
Jessica Hilliard, 34, of Apollo was killed. There other people shot during the incident survived and are recovering from their wounds.
Police arrested Dunmire, who stayed at the scene, without incident, they said. He fired a total of seven shots, according to police.
