Annual sawdust carpet celebration planned June 7
Guardian Angels Parish will host its annual Corpus Christi Sawdust Carpet celebration from June 7 in the parking lot of Our Lady of Victory Church, 1319 Low Grade Road, Harwick, Springdale Township.
Anyone interested in making a carpet should call the parish at 724-226-4900. No experience is required and helpers will be available.
Garden stroll event to welcome entries
The Harrison Township Garden Stroll is expanding into Brackenridge and Tarentum.
The event is tentatively scheduled for July 18. Residents who would like to enter their yard in the event should contact the Harrison Recreation Board at harrisontownshiprb@gmail.com.
