Pittsburgh police say they recovered multiple guns and drugs and charged two city residents in connection with an investigation outside of a Carrick business.
Public Safety spokeswoman Cara Cruz reported officers were conducting an investigation early Friday morning along the 1600 block of Brownsville Road.
It resulted in the arrests of Mello Williams, 24, and Matyus Stewart, 19.
Cruz said police obtained search warrants and recovered items including seven guns, four bundles of heroin and two bricks of heroin, marijuana, cocaine and more than $5,600 in cash.
Williams is charged with persons not to possess firearms, carrying firearms without a license, fleeting or attempting to elude police, possession of controlled substances, possession with intent to deliver, prohibitions in specified places, and lesser charges.
Stewart is charged with carrying firearms without a license and possession of controlled substances.
Online court documents did not list an attorney for either suspect.
Cruz said the investigation is ongoing.
