The McKeesport to the SEC pipeline continued Tuesday when Tigers 4-star wide receiver Javien Robinson committed to South Carolina, according to Rivals.
Robinson chose the Gamecocks over offers from finalists Rutgers and Syracuse, as well as Florida State, Miami, Penn State, Pitt, South Florida, Temple, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, West Virginia and Wisconsin, among others.

Robinson is the second McKeesport junior to commit to a Power-4 team in the SEC. Teammate Kemon Spell pledged in February to play running back at Georgia.
Robinson, a 6-foot-2, 196-pound receiver, is ranked the No. 14 junior prospect statewide by 247Sports. Last fall, he caught 18 passes for 370 yards and four scores for the WPIAL Class 4A runners-up. He was named first-team all-conference in the Greater Allegheny Conference.
South Carolina extended a scholarship offer in Feburary, and Robinson visited the campus in April.
