Fundraiser planned for victims of Parks Township shooting

A spaghetti dinner fundraiser for the victims of the shooting at Niki’s Quick Six in Parks Township will be May 28 at the Marconi Club in Leechburg.

Donations of raffle baskets, spaghetti, sauce, meatballs, takeout containers and bags are needed. Volunteers are also welcome.

Kitten shower planned Sunday by Animal Protectors

Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley will sponsor a kitten shower from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the shelter, 730 Church St., New Kensington.

Those attending are asked to bring a kitten shower gift. Most needed items include gift cards, small beds, kitten bottles, KMR Kitten Milk Replacer, kitty litter and wipes, toys, treats, canned food and kibble.
