For Penn State University graduates celebrating their new diplomas, an officially licensed Nittany Lions Graduation Bobblehead is now available for purchase.
The Penn State-themed collectible is part of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Graduation Bobblehead Series, according to an announcement released Friday.
The limited edition bobblehead features each school’s mascot standing on a graduation cap, as well as the school’s name on the front. The mascot wears a cap and gown, and holds a diploma.
Each bobblehead in the series is individually numbered to match the year the school was founded. For Penn State’s edition, that means 1,855 bobbleheads were produced, reflecting the university’s founding in 1855.
Available now online, the bobbleheads are each $40, plus an $8 flat-rate shipping charge per order.
They are expected to ship in November, according to the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.
Penn State University recently held its spring commencement ceremonies, where approximately 15,085 diplomas were awarded to students university-wide.
