Pitt, which has already landed 10 transfer portal commitments so far this spring, got additional reinforcements Friday in Bryant forward Timofei Rudovskii, who announced a pledge on multiple social media channels.
Rudovskii, a native of Moscow, Russia, becomes Pitt’s 11th commitment after a near total roster exodus during the offseason.
The 6-foot-9 big man joins guards Naithan George (Syracuse/Georgia Tech), Jonathan Powell (North Carolina/West Virginia), Jalil Bethea (Alabama/Miami), A’Lahn Sumler (Charleston Southern) and Colin Hawkins (Gardner-Webb), forwards Baye Ndongo (Georgia Tech), Dominique Diamante (BYU/Washington), Kraig Gilbert (Concord University) and Ibrahim Souare (Syracuse/Georgia Tech) plus Mercer center Armani Mighty.
Rudovskii played his first season of college basketball for Bryant in 2025-26, and as a true freshman, started 31 games, averaging 12.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per night.
He shot 41% from the floor and was a 36.2% 3-point shooter.
On Feb. 5, he scored a career-high 24 points vs. Albany, while posting a double-double (17 points, 11 rebounds) on Dec. 10, 2025, vs. Iona.
For his efforts, Rudovskii was named to the America East Conference All-Rookie Team.
