Fishing tourney to honor late Chief McIntire
The Chief’s Challenge, a family fun day and fishing tournament in memory of the late Brackenridge Police Chief Justin McIntire, will be June 27 at the Outdoor Life Lodge, 538 Woodrow Lane, Fawn Township, rain or shine.
Sponsored in partnership with AKV Back the Blue, check-in will be at 9 a.m. and the fishing tournament will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be open fishing from 2 to 4 p.m. Entry fees are $20; children 6 to 15, $10; and general admission, $10. There will be cash prizes, food trucks, games, vendors, a DJ and merchandise tent. Bring a blanket or chair.
