Elle Snyder played two seasons of NCAA Division I basketball at Evansville.

She will look to play two more at a different school.

The former Latrobe standout entered the transfer portal and announced last week she has found a new college home — Quinnipiac.

Snyder is a 5-foot-9 guard/forward who saw significant time last season and had a season-high 18 points, including five 3-pointers, in a 68-65 win over UNI.

She averaged 3.8 points and 5.4 rebound in 35 games.

Evansville plays in the Missouri Valley Conference, while Quinnipiac is a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.

“I chose Quinnipiac for a variety of reasons, including the excellent academics, the awesome new coaching staff,” Snyder said, “along with the history of the highly successful women’s basketball program and the beautiful campus.”

Snyder has played 51 games with 38 starts with career averages of 4 points and 5 rebounds over 21.1 minutes.

“I am planning on bringing in a leadership mindset with big goals of winning,” Snyder said.
