Watching and listening to the constant tirades and protests against ICE and/or DHS efforts to remove criminal illegal immigrants from blue cities like New York City by the politicians who run those cities is getting very tiring, approaching boring, and I believe it’s time for the battles to stop. So I recommend that Tom Homan, director of ICE, and Markwayne Mullin, director of Homeland Security, and the federal agencies responsible for trying to keep these cities safe just stop trying. Let these places suffer from their pro-criminal policies until they themselves want to return to civility.
Why waste taxpayer funds to provide something these cities don’t want? And why risk the lives of the men and women of law enforcement in these criminal enclaves when they are constantly attacked by protesters, the media and even the judges who seem to favor the criminals? Blue cities have destroyed their own public schools, and they have rejected the rule of law, yet their residents keep voting for the same leaders.
Instead, federal and state leaders should work to make sure illegal immigrants are never allowed to vote. Pass the SAVE Act. They should also stop giving “blank check” grants to these failed cities; the funds often get lost in fraud and the process just continues.
New York City does not have to be the center of finance; the internet is everywhere. And no other big city is immune from competition. It’s time to move on; these blue cities will heal themselves once the money dries up.
